Travel Grants
It is our pleasure to announce the availability of travel grants for attendees from low and middle income countries (LMIC) and for full time students and early career researchers to support their attendance at ICDS 2026.
At present, we are able to offer a number of travel grants for colleagues from LMIC or to full time students and early career researchers. Each awardee will receive free registration and a contribution towards offsetting travel and accommodation expenses associated with attending ICDS 2026.
All grant recipients should actively participate in the conference and have submitted an abstract for consideration via the online submission portal.
Successful applicants are expected to present their abstracts as an oral or poster within the ICDS 2026 program. All applicants are requested to submit a Letter of Motivation for their grant application (max. 1 page, see below) and their curriculum vitae (CV) as part of the application process.
All applications must be submitted via the application form by 14 August 2026 (midnight AEST).
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, but recipients will be notified no later than 18 September 2026. All recipients will receive a reimbursement form to submit their travel expenses together with the receipts (boarding passes, hotel invoices etc.). Submission of the expenses is expected after the symposium by 30 November 2026. You will receive more information in your acceptance letter.
We look forward to seeing you in Melbourne!
